This regulated qualification is aimed at all staff, particularly new starters, in any workplace, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required. Those gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace with recognition of the contribution they may have in preventing the start and spread of fire. This qualification is available in both English and Arabic.
This qualification is made up of one mandatory unit for which learners must successfully complete the assessment. This qualification can be taken as a free standing qualification or as part of a wider programme of training.
This qualification is assessed through a 30 minute, 15-question, multiple-choice examination. Successful learners must answer at least 10 out of the 15 questions correctly. This qualification is available in both English and Arabic.
