This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
Those gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognize the consequences of a fire in any premises.
This qualification is made up of one mandatory unit for which learners must successfully complete the assessment. This qualification can be taken as a free standing qualification or as part of a wider programmer of training.
This qualification is assessed through a 1 hour, 30question, multiple-choice examination. Successful learners must answer at least 20 out of 30 questions correctly.
